The Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra, listed among the creme de la creme of classical music, will turn 63 with a thrilling concert programme presenting some 20th-century classical works. With them, they will realise a long-time dream of making "two-ensemble" music. The programme is so unique that it could hold considerable appeal in any high-ranking concert hall in Europe. Now, the audience can enjoy this gala programme in Hungary's capital in the shared Alma Mater of the musicians of both ensembles: the Liszt Academy. The worldwide renowned cellist and the celebrated Artistic Director of the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra, István Várdai, will take to the stage as both a soloist and conductor.
