Their performances for young audiences aim to provide quality entertainment while also providing an introduction to classical works and new interpretations. The story of Mattie the Goose-Boy, presented in the language of dance, is a one-of-a-kind production, as the narrative poem by Mihály Fazekas is one of the gems of Hungarian literature. In their performances for children, humour and playfulness are just as important as high quality dance technique; the aim is to enchant young audiences. The instructive and entertaining story of Mattie the Goose-Boy is a great source of inspiration and a great resource.
As a director-choreographer, Balázs Vincze excels at adapting well-known and popular literary classics to the dance stage. He makes it easy to follow the action through the language of dance, using an excellent sense of proportion. As a father of several children, he is well-versed in the language of the youngest generation; his choreography of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was one of the most successful story ballets of recent decades. In addition to their outstanding dance skills, the dancers of Ballet Pécs have a unique ability to portray characters, allowing them to promote the art of dance and educate young people in the theatre in a special language of dance that is understandable to everyone.

"Semminek sincs értelme, ezt régóta tudom. Ezért semmit sem érdemes csinálni. Erre most jöttem rá” - mondja a nyolcadikos Pierre Anthon, majd kisétál az osztályteremből, felül egy szilvafára, hogy onnan kiáltsa világgá az élet hiábavalóságát. Osztálytársai elhatározzák, hogy bebizonyítják neki az ellenkezőjét, ezért tárgyakat kezdenek gyűjteni, "fontos dolgokat", amelyekért érdemes élni. Egy bicikli, amelyre évekig spórolt a tulajdonosa, egy napló, egy lány hosszú haja... A játéknak induló bizonyítás azonban hamarosan kontrollálhatatlanná válik. Mindenki sebezhető lesz, mindenkitől elveszik, ami a legfontosabb neki, miközben a "Fontos Dolgok Halma" egyre nő, és lassan mindent bekebelez.
